Day 1 again

Hubby is off to the oil sands again for 10 days - that gives me 10 days to get walking everyday and a meal plan made.
Goddess give me strength and willingness to follow through with this.

Sometimes Life just interferes

I did well last week, until Thursday night.  I just got home and my sister calls to say my Mom was having double vision. Now the lodge where she lives did not call.  My sister thought to be safe that Mom should go to emergency.  Off I go to pick Mom up. They ended up admitting her, she has had a small stroke.  She seems fine except for the double vision and her blood pressure is a little high.  I didn't get to talk to the doctor yesterday and when my sister called she didn't get any new information.
Mom says she is going home on Friday, we have not heard anything yet. All the stress and stopping in for visit after work has put my workout on hold.
Hopefully I will get back on track very soon, Mom will be out of the hospital and on her way to recovery soon.

Well it has been a long time .............................................................


I certainly was not busy losing any weight.

I have to say tonight will be 3rd time in a row on the treadmill. Just thought I would put that out there for now. Hoping for 30 minutes tonight, 35 tomorrow.

The exercise is coming along

but not the weight loss
I actually gained weight ugh!

My final day for the Whole Body Vibration thing is on Monday - I feel better but don't think I have lost anything.  Today I feel terribly  bloated, I wonder if I didn't drink enough water after the lovely massage I had yesterday. Oh well I will go "jiggle" after work any way.  Hopefully get an half hour on the treadmill.  That will make it 3 times this week.  It's a start.

2012 Starts

Ended up sick for the whole time between Christmas and New Years
Weighed myself on January 1, 2012
Starting weight - 144lbs
goal for January is to lose 8lbs, that is 2 per week.
I haven't done up the meal plan yet - but will be doing the 14 day plan from the Nov/Dec Cleaning Eating magazine. I'll post it or a link to it when I get a chance.
Tonight I am hoping I can walk for at least 30 minutes - see how I am feeling
